Agreement

By using this site, entering the show, buying a ticket or a quilt, or judging, you agree to these terms and to the entry rules and privacy policy, which form part of them. The show is produced by TheQuiltHub.com and operates under the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada.

Your account

You need an account to enter, vote, buy or judge. Keep your password to yourself; you are responsible for what happens under your account. One account per person. Accounts are for people 18 and over.

Entering the show

Entry is governed by the entry rules. In short: the work must be your own, complete, and photographed honestly; judging is anonymous; the fee is US$35 in the United States and CA$35 everywhere else; and the fee is refundable until the panel begins reviewing entries.

Your content and our licence

You keep copyright in your quilts, photographs and words. You grant us the display and promotional licence set out in the entry rules. You confirm you hold the rights to everything you upload, including any fabric designs or imagery whose licence restricts commercial display.

Money

Payments and payouts run through PayPal. Amounts are charged in the currency displayed. Refunds, cancellations and disputes follow the refund and dispute policy published on the rules page. Marketplace sales follow the marketplace terms on the marketplace page.

Voting and fair play

People's Choice is one vote per account. Creating accounts to vote more than once, buying votes, or manipulating results voids the affected entry and the accounts involved.

Conduct

Harassment, misrepresentation, plagiarism, copyright infringement, or behaviour that undermines the fairness of the show gets an entry or an account removed. Decisions of the organiser on conduct are final.

Availability

We do our best to keep the site up, but we do not promise uninterrupted service. Scheduled dates can move for reasons outside our control; if a round or an event cannot run, we say so publicly and refund what was paid for it.

Liability

Our total liability to you for anything connected with the show is limited to the amount you paid us. We are not liable for indirect losses, for a carrier losing a shipment beyond the remedies in the fulfilment policy, or for the acts of another user.

Changes

We may update these terms. Material changes are emailed to account holders and dated here. Rules that govern an open edition — fee, rubric, weights, prizes, deadlines — are fixed once entries open and are not changed mid-edition.
